Savor the Island Flavor During Tybee Restaurant Week 2024

Since 2011, Tybee has hosted a special celebration of the island’s diverse and rich culinary culture, and the latest installment is fast approaching. Tybee Restaurant Week 2024 is taking place Feb. 16–29, providing hungry locals and tourists alike with a unique opportunity to experience the best of what Tybee’s fantastic food scene has to offer. For two weeks, guests will be able to nosh on noteworthy specials and take advantage of delicious deals being offered at various local establishments. If you’ve been dying to try someplace new or revisit some of your fave island eateries, Tybee Restaurant Week presents the perfect chance to do so.

This year, more than ten local restaurants are participating in restaurant week, including Pier 16, A-J’s Dockside, North Beach Bar & Grill, Sea Wolf Tybee, Seaside Sweets, Agave Bar and Grill, Mi Vida, Bubba Gumbo’s, The Deck Beach Bar & Kitchen, Zunzibar and Wet Willie’s Tybee location. With more restaurants being added everyday, Tybee Restaurant Week 2024 is a great way to support local businesses during a time of year that typically sees less foot traffic.

“We are encouraging the community and visitors to come out and support the local restaurateurs by trying out their special food and drink menu options during restaurant week. We purposely do this event during the off season on Tybee to give the businesses some extra support and exposure during a usually slow time. This year, we have more restaurants than ever before participating, and their menus look delicious! It’s so fun to see the local chefs and bartenders showcase their talents and flare with the specials they create,” said Cassidi Kendrick, Tybee Island Main Street Development Authority Director.

Each participating restaurant is offering special menu items or promotions to attract hungry patrons. Here’s a sample of the deliciousness that awaits you during Tybee Restaurant Week 2024:

Sea Wolf Tybee

For the first time, Sea Wolf Tybee is participating in Tybee Restaurant Week, and their team couldn’t be more excited. They are offering a sophisticated entree and wine pairing at the affordable price of $26: vegan stuffed portobello with a glass of Henri Champliau Petrone sparkling wine. Restaurant week also coincides with Sea Wolf’s annual Wisconsin Supper Club with a menu that’s reminiscent of a 1960’s steak house. The a la carte menu highlights hyperlocal ingredients like Tybee Oyster Co. salt bomb oysters, Georgia wild-caught shrimp and Chatel Farms beef tenderloin. With vegan and gluten free options available, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at Sea Wolf Tybee.

North Beach Bar and Grill

North Beach Bar and Grill is continuing their Grill Gives Back celebration throughout the year, and Tybee Restaurant Week is included in that. They’re offering two special prix-fixe menus featuring appetizing options that are sure to please the palate. Week one’s menu, available Feb. 16–22, includes your choice of starter or salad, main course and dessert. Start with the creamy sherry seafood stew or a house salad; followed by seared unicorn fish or apple, fennel and goat cheese bread pudding; and end on a sweet note with banana pudding trifle or orange creamsicle pie, amid other options. Week two’s menu, available Feb. 23–29, is equally satiating with options like roasted cauliflower soup or plantains with mojo, angel hair piccata or the ultimate Italian veggie hoagie, and flourless chocolate torte. Each week, you can choose three crave-worthy courses for just $37.95.

With their award-winning sandwiches and wildly flavorful wings, Zunzibar is getting in on the restaurant week action too. They’re offering one hot drink (hot chocolate, hot cider or hot coffee), one entree (sandwich and chips, 10 wings and chips, Gaby’s green salad, slaap chip nachos, or the crowd-pleasing Oliver’s lunch), and two s’mores kits to roast at their fire pits all for just $26. That’s a “Shit Yeah!” special for sure.

Wet Willie’s

Everyone knows Wet Willie’s for their popular frozen daiquiris that pack a punch, but they also serve up tasty food items. If you’ve never tried any of their piquant plates, Tybee Restaurant Week presents the perfect opportunity to do so. Wet Willie’s Tybee location is offering two succulent specials to help patrons soak up all that alcohol. For breakfast, they’re offering Eggs in a Nest, two fried eggs served inside golden-brown toast, served with home fries and bacon for the budget-friendly price of $8.75. Then for lunch or dinner bite into their bacon pimento cheeseburger made with a flame-grilled, Cajun seasoned patty topped with pimento cheese, hot sauce, cheddar-jack cheese, bacon and fried pickles. Served with one side, this bountiful burger can be yours for $15.25 — a steal for such a stacked up sandwich.

Agave Bar & Grill

If you love great Mexican and great deals, make your way to Agave Bar & Grill during restaurant week. They’re offering three courses and a drink for just $30. Choose a house margarita or a tall draft beer; an app of chips and cheese dip or guacamole; and your choice of entree with options like Agave burritos, carne asada, pollo con chorizo, arroz Texano or beef or chicken fajitas. Finish it all off with some churros, chimi-cheesecake or flan. Your belly, and your wallet, will thank you.

This just might be the sweetest deal during restaurant week.
