Tybee for the Holidays Coming Soon

Here’s How You Can Join the Holiday Festivities
CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING, Saturday, November 27, 6 p.m., Tybrisa Street and Strand Avenue
Please note that the tree lighting is separate from the parade this year. We will light the tree with Santa Claus and enjoy caroling, dancing and holiday treats at the roundabout

CHRISTMAS PARADE, Friday, December 3, 6 p.m.
Watch our nighttime Christmas parade from anywhere along Butler Avenue. Parade begins at Memorial Park and moves along Butler Avenue to Tybrisa Street.

If you plan to attend our Christmas Parade, please bring canned goods with you for the food bank! Our Department of Public Works elves will be collecting them along the parade route. Last year, DPW collected 500 pounds of donations during our smaller Christmas Caravan!

If you would like to participate in our nighttime Christmas parade with a float or a group please download the application to review the requirements and event information.

We will be judging floats this year! Santa Trophies will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place winners. If you would like your float to participate in the judging, please email michelle.owens@cityoftybee.org.

Our Business Decorating Contest is bigger than ever this year with THREE chances to win. A panel of guest judges will visit each business and award Santa trophies to 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place winners! To participate, please email michelle.owens@cityoftybee.org.
