Tybee Business Spotlight: Tybee Island Watersports
Boasting a brand-new fleet of top-rated jet skis and the amazing Tybee Tiki Boat, Tybee Island Watersports is ready to facilitate your next aquatic adventure!
In the two years since opening, Tybee Island Watersports has earned rave reviews from countless customers for their top-of-the-line watercraft, commitment to safety, and outstanding overall experience. Locals and tourists alike flock to the watersports outfitter in pursuit of excitement, and with the return of peak beach season, now is the time to enjoy some wet and wild fun on the water.

Central to Tybee Island Watersports’ core philosophy is ensuring that customers enjoy themselves and have a memorable experience.
“It’s the Tybee way, we’re laid back and we try to create memories,” said Craig Vinciguerra, Operations Manager at Tybee Island Watersports.
Hailing from Long Island, New York, Vinciguerra joined the team relatively recently in February of 2026, but he brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the boating world.
“During 9/11, I was a mate and I was ferrying first responders over from Long Island to Lower Manhattan. So I’ve been in this for a long time,” he recounted.
Since joining Tybee Island Watersports, Vinciguerra has aided the team in continuing to deliver the excellent service that the outfitter is known and loved for. Further advancing this reputation of excellence is their brand-new fleet of 2026 Sea-Doo GTX luxury jet skis. The fleet comprises 10 new Sea-Doos, all of which have less than 10 hours of use coming straight off the showroom floor. The Sea-Doos boast compelling capabilities that customers will love.
“They can do 50 miles per hour in just a blink of an eye,” said Vinciguerra.
The Sea-Doos are serviced weekly by a professional and abide by all Coast Guard regulations. Safety is the top priority at Tybee Island Watersports.
“We have a safety tracking system so that we can watch everything. If customers fall off, I instantly get an alert on my phone. I know everything that’s going on, and that’s part of making sure that everybody’s safe. We care about people,” he explained.
Once this new fleet accrues a certain amount of hours on the water, Tybee Island Watersports has a deal with Sea-Doo to turn over another new fleet, so customers can rest assured that they’re using industry-standard equipment. In addition to the Sea-Doos, customers can also rent one of four pontoon boats, which can accommodate up to ten people. Both the Sea-Doos and the pontoon boats are covered by the proper insurances should any damages occur.

Beyond the jet skis and pontoon boats,Tybee Island Watersports also offers the amazing Tybee Tiki Boat, which is perfect for partying on the Atlantic.
Accommodating up to 16 passengers, the Tybee Tiki Boat is great for bachelorette parties and other fun-loving groups. The boat offers public and private charters. The public charters sail throughout the day and at sunset, and cruise for 90 minutes, while the private charters cruise for three or more hours and anchor at a sandbar for a swimming session complete with fun inflatables, like the lauded lily pad!

Both charters boast scenic views along Tybee waterways — including local landmarks like the Cockspur Lighthouse and Fort Pulaski — expert guidance from their knowledgeable Captain Rob, and even ample opportunity for dolphin sightings! Guests can bring their own food and beverages aboard and get the party going with tunes from the Bluetooth system. The tiki boat also has a bathroom onboard and is pet-friendly, two unique features that set Tybee Island Watersports apart.
“We try to take care of everybody and keep them smiling,” said Vinciguerra.

He encourages the public to book their next aquatic adventure with Tybee Island Watersports soon:
“We make a memorable experience. Our crew, we’re all geared towards safety first. We want everybody to experience the Tybee way and feel good, remember the moment. Whatever we can do to make people happy, we cater to everyone.”
