THE LIGHTHOUSE SERIES
SAFE TO SHORE, CHANGING TIDES AND RESTORING FAITH
A Romance series inspired by the Cockspur Island Lighthouse, Tybee Island and Savannah
Sue Langford, Author of the Secret Series, continues her success with her Lighthouse Series, inspired by her favorite country stars and the Cockspur Island Lighthouse. The newest series takes you on a journey with a country superstar, a country songwriter and their journey that started with volunteering to restore the Cockspur Island Lighthouse. One is determined to find her inspiration to write again, the other is living out her dream of the house on the beach. Both find love in the craziest of places, but get every ounce of inspiration and strength from the Lighthouse. Sue’s previous series sold hundreds of copies just by word of mouth on social media and one even included a huge book signing event at The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville Tennessee.
Readers of her books have been so eager for this series, that her fan base has almost tripled in just a few weeks. Sue has lived in the Toronto Canada area for years, but after a visit to Savannah and a dolphin tour with Captain Mike’s Dolphin Tour, she was addicted to the lighthouse and all it’s splendor. It all started with a meet and greet with one of her favorite musicians, a dream and a wish coming true. She writes novels that inspire women and give them the strength to make their lives what they want. “These characters are strong, confident women who know what they want and aren’t afraid to fight for it.
“No matter what she writes, she has all of us waiting for the follow up. This series is so amazing. Any country fan who loves country music, Savannah or Tybee or just dreams about them would love this. So many twists and turns. I almost started believing those characters were real,” one fan mentioned during a Q and A that she had on her Facebook page. All of her novels include a ton of information that has you seeing what’s happening like a movie in front of your eyes. You get pulled into the characters to the point that you can’t put the books down. This series was a whole new venture for Sue as she decided to donate partial proceeds from every paperback or ebook copy of the series to the Savannah Community Foundation towards the restoration of the Cockspur Island Lighthouse.
Sue became fascinated with Savannah and Tybee after her first visit, and has continued to return over and over again claiming that it constantly inspires her with more and more story ideas. To help promote her new novel, Sue will have a book signing June 17, 2017 from 1-3pm at E Shaver Booksellers in Savannah. Copies of the full series will be on hand.
