From August 17 – 20, The Savannah Harbor Foundation will hold the 4th annual Savannah Gourmet Seafood & Spirits Festival. Hosted at the picturesque Westin Savannah Harbor Resort, the four-day fest boasts masterfully-prepared seafood offerings and satiating libations. End your summer in style with a tantalizing culinary experience that’s sure to leave you salivating ‘til the next time around. Savannah Gourmet Seafood Spirits Festival

Coastal Chefs Table – Thursday, August 17

The fest will kick off with a Coastal Chefs Table from 6:30 to 10 pm at the Westin’s opulent grand ballroom. This stellar commencement will feature an exquisite 5-course meal complete with paired wines, cocktails and spirits. Seven of the country’s most talented coastal chefs will join the Westin chefs and renowned sommeliers and mixologists in presenting the dinner. Fresh fares and beautiful pairings aren’t all that this special event offers. Diners will enjoy chef interactions, live broadcasting of the kitchen preparations and live jazz music courtesy of Savannah’s own Jeremy Davis. Tickets are $125 per person or $99 per table of ten, and trust me, they’re every bit worth it.

Lowcountry Picnic – Friday, August 18

The Last Blast of Summer Lowcountry Picnic is the go-to for all-you-can-eat oysters and a surfeit of accompanying sides. Chef Rusty Bowers of Atlanta’s Pine Street Market is supplying a special selection of artisan meats. The picnic will take place from 6:30 to 9 pm on the Westin’s boardwalk and harbor lawns. Look forward to a night of coastal comfort food, local craft beer and cool cocktails overlooking the Savannah River. Tickets are $40 per person, and there are several package options available.

AquaCurean Challenge & Coastal Pop-Up – Saturday, August 19

Come back out to the lawn Saturday at 2 pm for the AquaCurean Challenge & Coastal Pop-Up. Regional restaurants and mixologists leave it all on the table at this annual showcase. With live music, flair bartenders and sundry samples of the finest fares and drinks, it’s a culinary carnival! Let your palate guide you as you navigate from tent to tent, and cast your vote for the best seafood recipe and the best cocktail presentation. $65 provides all-inclusive access, so you can eat, drink and be merry to your heart’s fill. But for an extra-special experience, VIP passes are just $125.

Fresh Catch & Cocktails Jazz Brunch – Sunday, August 20

Brunch is pretty much a Savannah pastime, so it’s only fitting that the festival features the Fresh Catch & Cocktails Jazz Brunch as its culminating event. Held at the Aqua Star Seafood Kitchen, this spectacular brunch boasts the best of your favorite mid-morning meal: a breakfast buffet, chilled seafood, Champagne, Bloody Marys and, of course, Mimosas. Tickets are just $69 per person, and they include all pours, fares and a special festival souvenir. The Jeremy Davis Equinox Trio will be back to provide soothing sounds as well. Amid newfound friends and beautiful vistas of Historic Savannah, the Jazz Brunch is the perfect way to close out your gourmet getaway.
