The Mouse That Roared (play)
April 11, 2025 @ 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm EDT
Presented by FEFC Youth Theatre Ensemble
What happens when a tiny, bankrupt country declares war on the United States – and wins?
The Mouse That Roared is a political satire based on the novel by Leonard Wibberley. When the Duchy of Grand Fenwick hatches a desperate plan to solve its financial woes by invading New York City in 14th century uniforms and English long bows, it accidentally achieves the impossible. Suddenly, the world’s newest-yet-tiny superpower must navigate victory, diplomacy, and absurdity in equal measure. The Mouse That Roared is a delightful farce, proving that even the smallest voices can make a mighty roar. Don’t miss this riotous comedy of international proportions!
