Easter Dining on Tybee

Where to Dine this Easter

A holiday for piety, pastels and painted eggs, Easter is an enjoyable time for all. Families and friends come together this day each year to celebrate and create lasting memories – many of which are shared over a nice mid morning meal. Don’t spoil your holiday by spending it bent over a hot stove. Let someone else worry about the dining plan, so you can focus on what really matters. Put the ease in Easter by brunching it up  this Sunday at any one of these fine Tybee eateries.

The Crab Shack

The Crab Shack is an icon in the Lowcountry’s culinary scene. Known for the welcoming atmosphere, picturesque marina views and succulent seafood, The Crab Shack is an excellent choice this Easter for brunch, lunch or dinner. The shack opens promptly at 11:30 am Easter day and will remain open until 9 pm. If local, fresh-caught gifts of the sea are the makings of a holiday meal worth remembering, then make your way to the Crab Shack on Sunday. And while the famous eatery is sure to attract a crowd, there’s no need to make a reservation. The Crab Shack seats more than 700, so there’s plenty of room for you and yours.

Fannie’s On the Beach

Another fan favorite for good seafood and so much more is Fannie’s On The Beach. Fannie’s will be open during regular hours this Sunday, offering their full menu. And as a special treat, Easter diners can enjoy live music on the restaurant’s deck. Savannah-based acoustic duo Christy & Butch will deliver a tranquil set to Fannie’s patrons on Sunday from 2 to 5 pm. This is the perfect Easter option for anyone who likes a little music with their meal.

A-J’s Dockside Restaurant

The quintessential Tybee dining experience is to be had at A-J’s: fresh seafood, friendly service and beautiful ocean views from a colorful patio. A-J’s will be open this Easter from 11 am to 10 pm. Enjoy Lowcountry faves for lunch or dinner on this special day.

Coco’s Sunset Grille

Tybee’s favorite little monkey Coco is excited to spend Easter in the company of his close friends at the eatery of his namesake. And he’d love to see you there too! Coco’s Sunset Grille will be open during regular hours Easter, serving up house staples and maybe a few treats too. If you can, plan to dine in the early evening. Coco’s is known for their spectacular sunset views – what better way to end your Easter?

Sting Ray’s Seafood

Sting Ray’s Seafood will also be open this Easter during regular hours. You can expect the usual: fresh fares, friendly staff and great local music. Forecasts are predicting a beautiful day, so dine alfresco on their new patio! You just might luck out and enjoy a live musical performance.

Bernie’s Oyster House

If a good, old-fashioned oyster roast is your idea of a satisfying Easter meal, then head to Bernie’s Oyster House on Sunday. Open regular hours, Bernie’s is the place to have oysters any way you like them this holiday. The bivalve bounty is so good, you might even get inspired to start a new tradition. Instead of painting eggs, you can save a few shells and paint some beautiful Easter oysters!
