TYBEE ISLAND, GA- The City of Tybee is anticipating high tides, upwards of 8+ feet for the evening of Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Please be advised that this will cause the beach area to be smaller. Visitors are encouraged to spread out away from the pier to view the evening fireworks, the display will be visible from all beach areas.
The fireworks will be discharged from the end of the Tybee Pier around 9:15 p.m. and there will be a 450ft safety zone marked around the perimeter. There will also be a lane marked along the beach for emergency vehicle access.
